A dead vehicle can still have value
We evaluate non-running cars, trucks, vans and SUVs across the Kansas City metro. That includes vehicles with dead batteries, electrical problems, fuel-system trouble, failed engines or transmissions, accident damage, missing keys and long-term storage wear.
Starting and driving
Tell us whether it starts, runs, moves under its own power and can be shifted into neutral.
Rolling and steering
Confirm whether all wheels and tires are present, the steering turns and the brakes are stuck or released.
Location and access
Share photos of the driveway or lot when the vehicle is blocked, behind a gate, inside a garage or sitting off pavement.
Non-running vehicle questions
What Kansas City sellers ask
Do you buy cars that do not start?
Yes. We consider vehicles with dead batteries, fuel or electrical problems, engine failure, transmission trouble and other conditions that prevent them from starting or driving.
What if the vehicle has been sitting for years?
Tell us how long it has been sitting and whether the tires, wheels, steering, brakes and keys are present. Photos of the vehicle and the surrounding access are helpful.
Does the vehicle need to be on pavement?
Not always, but safe truck access matters. Describe grass, gravel, mud, slopes, gates, garages and obstacles before pickup is scheduled.
